One Big Family
Caxton College is a private, mixed British school, located 15 minutes from Valencia along the centre of the Mediterranean coast, which offers a complete education to children and teenagers from 1 to 18 years of age. Founded in 1987 by the Gil-Marqués family, it offers Spanish and international students a school where they are brought up in an international environment, following the British curriculum.
With its welcoming, family-oriented atmosphere, our core values are based on commitment, integrity, enthusiasm and respect, leading to an environment of friendliness and trust in all members of the educational community.
The school is categorised as an “Excellent school,” after being awarded the internationally recognised “British School Overseas” certification, following an Ofsted Inspection.
A direct relationship with each student and their plans for the future is one of our main goals. Our students as a whole receive a solid academic grounding, while living in a friendly, bilingual environment, a fusion of British and Spanish cultures. Their studies, sports and hobbies are developed in a supportive and participative environment that fosters critical thinking and coexistence, as well as their innate talents and passions.

The UK Department for Education includes Caxton College among its schools of reference outside Britain, as it represents the essence of quality British education.
