Creativity & Inspiration

Welcome

British Primary School in Valencia

Our educational focus is based on a dynamic creative curriculum that is taught around learning topics to develop pupils’ curiosity, their interest in learning, their passion for knowledge and their values.

Our teaching team combines the best of a British education with the added advantages of the Spanish subjects, allowing our pupils to achieve mastery of both languages and cultures. Additionally, we promote a healthy and sustainable lifestyle so that they learn good habits for life.

One of our main aims is to ensure that our students have a positive experience every day at school, and for this reason we have a consolidated child safeguarding policy.

We place great importance on the close relationship we have with our families, since they are an integral part of our educational project. We invite you to learn more about our school, where we value the uniqueness of each pupil in a stimulating environment full of opportunities.

Welcome
Barbara Stenhouse, Primary Headteacher

We support them in the process of becoming creative citizens, with excellent skills and values

"The primary school lays down an excellent foundation for basic skills in numeracy and literacy and inspires a love of learning from the outset. Pupils evidently enjoy school , participating wholeheartedly. They are attentive because the curriculum is taught in an engaging way through a thematic and creative approach."

Inquisitive minds

We awaken curiosity and the natural tendency to learn with the hope that it will remain throughout their lives.

Creative hands

We stimulate creativity and foster it through practical and artistic experiences.

Caring hearts

We teach values such as kindness, generosity, and affection as the foundation for social relationships.

Educational Stages

The Next Step Forward

In this new stage, we maintain a bilingual, creative, personalised, and inspiring curriculum that not only prepares students for their future education but also helps them grow and develop as curious individuals eager to learn throughout their lives. We have a large team of qualified professionals whose goal each day is to research, identify, and develop the best educational path for our students to follow.

A Thorough Plan for Learning

Once pupils feel more responsible for their learning and behaviour, they begin to work on a wide variety of academic projects and highly enriching learning experiences. In Year 5, technology becomes ever more important as they start the one-to-one iPad project and learn to research, collaborate, and create with a solid foundation in English. Each teacher works with each student to provide the individual support they need to achieve their goals in class.

School Life

Ensuring pupils' happiness allows them to reach their full potential

Our goal is for our students to become active citizens. For this reason, we encourage them to participate in all the activities that school life offers to help them develop a spirit of educational community.

Co-Curricular Activities

Culture, Sport & Values During the School Day

This is an ideal age for pupils to satisfy their curiosity, try new things and discover new and unexpected hobbies. We encourage our pupils to express themselves freely, improve their social skills, train their memory and reinforce their ability to concentrate, whether through sport, music, languages or art.

Our Success is the Satisfaction of Our Families

Year 5

We want to thank you for the '1st Caxton Cheese & Wine Party' event. It was lovely to meet other parents and the staff. We exchanged useful information and gained a better perspective of how to face our new adventure in Valencia.

Year 3

We would just like to convey our gratitude to the school psychologists for their amazing videos with guidelines for parents. Both my husband and I agreed completely with every point mentioned. We are truly fortunate to have such a complete school where not only students but also parents have the opportunity to be educated and work together to build the foundation for strong future adults. Thank you, thank you, thank you!!!

Year 1

What a wonderful initiative the Sensory movement classes with Ms Cox are! We appreciate these kinds of activities being integrated at school, they are needed so much now more than ever. I hope they will become a permanent addition.

Year 6

Thank you to the playground monitors and the dining room staff, because he’s spoken well of you so often, to the Primary Office staff, who always help me with so much kindness; to the psychologists and to the clinic for looking after him so affectionately; and thank you to the transport team. Thank you to the whole extracurricular activities team: his art , German teachers and his swimming instructors. Thank you to everyone who has been involved in the summer camps: you cannot imagine how much he has enjoyed the Challenge Camp in German and Discovery Camp! And of course, thank you to the coordinators, Ms Stenhouse, Mr Fraser and Ms Sayce.

Year 3

I just wanted to say thank you for the wonderful Good Manners lessons. Although we constantly try to teach manners at home, I realise that the children pay more attention when it is explained by the school. Thank you very much!
